What is the success rate for data recovery?
Over the last 14 years, of all the hard drives that have passed through Southbit, the average success rate of accepted quotes has been +/- 85%. However, each case is unique and this is why a proper assessment is important and takes a bit of time to do properly.

In order to give you an accurate price for recovery, as well as the likelihood of success, your device needs to be thoroughly assessed. Assessment is free, as well as obligation-free. You’ll receive your quote within 24 hours, the quote and assessment will be sent to your email address. How do I get the process started?
The storage device needs to make its way to our office for the assessment, either delivered in person or sent in via a courier. A completed book in form must accompany each job, they are available at reception upon arrival. How long will the data recovery take, and how do I get my data back?
You will generally receive 2 turnaround time options in the quote. Standard data recovery service is usually about 5 – 8 days, we also offer an expedited recovery service which is 24 – 72 hours at a slightly higher rate. In most cases, the original hard drive or storage device cannot be used to store the recovered data. When we quote you on recovery, we will include options for receiving the recovered data. These include purchasing a new hard drive from us or supplying your own spare drive. If you have a spare drive with you, you may book that in as well if you wish to use that as a place to store the recovered data.
